Make decks match your firm's style

Teach Pitchcrow your firm's layouts, fonts, and colors by adding past decks to a firm-wide space.

Pitchcrow copies its look from your firm's past decks. It looks for them in spaces for Everyone at your firm, like Templates.

Add your past decks

  1. Upload a past PowerPoint or PDF to the Templates space, or to another space for Everyone at your firm.
  2. Turn it into a deck.

Pitchcrow studies decks, not the uploaded file itself, so this second step matters. A deck that's still converting isn't used until it's done.

How Pitchcrow uses them

Before it writes the outline for a new deck, Pitchcrow looks at the decks in your firm-wide spaces. It picks the one closest to what you asked for. Then it copies its colors, fonts, footer, logo placement, page numbers, and layouts.

The outline names the deck it copied from, so you can check its choice.

If your firm has no decks in these spaces, Pitchcrow comes up with its own design.

Match a specific deck

Name the deck in your request. For example: "Match the style of the Q3 board deck in Templates." You can also name a deck in the same space as your work.

Good to know

  • Decks in your deal's own space count as past work, not house style. Pitchcrow reads them for content, but doesn't copy their design unless you ask.
  • Everyone at your firm can open decks in firm-wide spaces, so keep client work out of them. See What is a space?.
  • Only organization admins can create spaces for Everyone at your firm. Anyone at the firm can add decks to them.
