Spaces
Space roles
Admins manage the space, Editors do the work, and Viewers can look and comment.
Each person in an invited-only space has one of three roles.
| What they can do | Admin | Editor | Viewer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open decks, sheets, and files | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Leave comments | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Resolve other people's comments | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Edit decks and sheets, and upload files | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Ask Pitchcrow to build or change things | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Publish versions for review | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Rename, share, or delete the space | ✓ |
To change someone's role, see Add people to a space.
Good to know
- Viewer is the right role for an MD or client-side reviewer who should comment but not edit.
- In spaces for Everyone at your firm, everyone is an Editor. Only organization admins can rename or delete those spaces.
- Space roles are separate from organization roles. Being an organization admin doesn't make you an Admin of every space.
